Amphiphilic engineering of reduced graphene oxides using a carbon nitride coating for superior removal of organic pollutants from wastewater

چکیده

Amphiphilic carbon nitride (g-C3N4) was decorated onto reduced graphene oxide (rGO) to obtain rGO-g-C3N4 composites as excellent adsorbents for the removal of aromatic organic compounds from industrial wastewater. The obtained are effective due amphiphilic g-C3N4. We propose a new adsorption model using an additive which can enhance water accessibility and hydrophobic interactions between rGO with in aqueous media. Where, even water-soluble molecules like rhodamine B (RhB) have high capability (520 mg g−1). Molecular dynamics simulations were used investigate RhB indicated that g-C3N4 accelerates process. In addition, amphipathic approach is enhanced salinity increases, offer great operational flexibility versatility. This research demonstrates highly efficient carbon-based nanomaterials be practical applications.

Removal of selected organic pollutants in anaerobic wastewater treatment process

Aromatic compounds belong to one of most widely distributed classes of organic substances used in industry, services and households and, therefore they are relatively often measured in municipal wastewater. Their efficient biological degradation is essential to reduce the subsequent disposal of such substances into the waters of the receiver, or release into the atmosphere. The mineralization o...
